About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is crucial for delivering excellent customer service. You will contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.Main duties include:

  • Serving trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales.
  • Picking relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
  • Assisting the sales team with product promotions, answering telephone and electronic queries.
  • Satisfying customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
  • Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and working on personal sales benchmarks.
  • Using the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in customer-facing areas.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their garage needs.
  • Representing the company professionally and promoting our values.
  • Working towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working hours: Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

What you\’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive approach to resolving customer queries.
  • Confident with IT and computer systems.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office preferred.
