Our client, a busy franchised car dealership, near Orpington has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team.

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
  2. Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
  3. In-depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
  4. Warranty Repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  2. 1+ year Post Apprenticeship experience
  3. Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

  1. Car Vehicle Experience
  2. Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
  3. Franchised Dealer Experience
  4. MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) If not, you will be helped to qualify

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary £30,000 – 34,000 (depending on skills/experience)
On Target Earnings £42,000
Paid Overtime
Manufacturer Training

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm
Saturdays 8am – 1pm (paid as overtime)
