At our Labcorp site in Eye, Suffolk we are looking to recruit a Study Analyst to join our experienced Physico Chemical Testing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chemists in an established physico-chemical testing laboratory. Whilst receiving training in the laboratory methods and techniques required to evaluate the individual properties of a chemical you will also develop a knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and its importance in regulatory studies.
Job responsibilities include:

Developing competent basic laboratory skills to support Physico-chemical properties testing including shelf-life stability testing

Sets up and performs appropriate analyses in primary area of responsibility based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team along with instrumental analysis

Maintain study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines and the recording actions/ observations in accordance with GLP

Follow instructions, SOPs and protocols that apply to current role to complete assigned tasks and projects

Education:

BSc in Chemistry or related subject
All training provided however the successful candidate will possess the following skills:

Knowledge in the use of standard laboratory equipment

A genuine interest in science and analysis

Proficiency with I.T and computer software packages such as Excel

Good numeracy

Organised and self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative

Knowledge and/or experience of HPLC or GC techniques would be advantageous
