Job Description
This is a general overview of the major responsibilities for the Produce Clerk position. Responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly and courteous service to customers.
- Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
- Stocking, rotating, and straightening produce.
- Watering and icing down products.
- Washing, trimming, and wrapping produce.
- Removing products that do not meet quality standards.
- Reading and understanding department signage.
- Following safety and sanitation procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by store management.
Training
Training will be provided at the store level.
Physical Demands
- Bending and stooping.
