Position Overview
As a Sales Solutions Generalist you’ll provide each customer with the best experience possible by helping them find and purchase animals, supplies and services. You’ll engage guests in the proper selection of merchandise, process transactions, keep merchandise stocked and priced, and promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion and collaboration.
Position Responsibilities
- Engage guests to provide a great experience.
- Assist guests in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
- Demonstrate interest in animal welfare, health and proper handling.
- Process transactions to create a great experience.
- Generate future business through deep understanding of guests and pets.
- Perform related duties to support sales goals.
- Maintain merchandise presentation (stock, price, display).
- Complete training programs to maintain expertise.
- Adhere to operational guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Promote teamwork, inclusion and collaboration.
- Complete assigned duties and special projects.
- Refer inquiries to Leader on Duty as needed.

Basic Qualifications
Work successfully within a team; professional appearance and demeanor; genuine interest in animals and their care. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in sales, retail or related field; high knowledge of pet nutrition and aptitude for sales techniques.
Work Environment
Job duties are conducted indoors with occasional merchandise handling. Requires standing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be available for evenings, weekends and some on‑nights and holidays.
