Project Civil Engineer We are looking for a Project Civil Engineer to join our team on major UK construction projects, starting on a project in Birkenhead. The role is site-based and involves working on projects across the UK, reporting directly to the Site Agent, Project Manager, and Contract Manager. The successful candidate will support the management and delivery of civil engineering projects, working within a flexible organisation that values self-motivated, practical problem solvers. Key Responsibilities: Technical & Project Delivery: Carry out surveying, setting out, and volume checks in a timely manner and in accordance with specifications. Interpolate ground investigation (GI) data, designs, and specifications to produce accurate quantities and earthworks phasing 3D models. Manage machine control setup and operation, including 3D modelling and ensuring on-site accuracy. Ensure compliance with testing frequencies based on actual earthwork volumes and maintain excellent communication with QA and project management teams. Monitor earthworks progress, accurately reporting weekly volumes to senior management. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure construction meets client requirements.
