Role: Quality Assurance Assistant Location: Winsford Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 Summary We Help Recruit are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Assistant in Winsford, Cheshire. About Our Client Our client is a global packaging market leader. The Role This QA role involves inspecting and testing products from suppliers, reviewing quality reports and managing sorting processes to ensure standards are met. Key skills include attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and a valid driving license. Quality Assurance Assistant Responsibilities Conducting quality inspections and testing on items purchased from suppliers to ensure they meet required standards. Assessing and reporting on pre-production approval samples. Evaluating supplier quality reports and providing feedback accordingly. Overseeing the sorting of rejected batches during in-house operations to maintain agreed quality standards. Keeping accurate records of sorting activities, including time sheets for sorting operatives. Performing off-site inspections at UK-based locations. Managing the inspection, testing, and documentation of all deliveries to managed warehouses. Quality Assurance Assistant Requirements Strong technical and product knowledge. Clear and precise communication with excellent attention to detail. Highly organized, even when working under pressure. Calm and composed when handling challenging situations. Proactive ownership of tasks and effective problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of health and safety protocols. Proficient in IT and technology applications. Driving License.
