Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an Operational Trainer (Nights) to join our team in Avonmouth,to join one of our new business wins! As an Operational Trainer, you’llinstruct, test, monitor,and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and deliver operational safety training acrossall areas of the operation.

This is a full time, permanent position, working a 3 on 3 off shift pattern of 06:00 till 18:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £39,100.00 per annum and you will receive 20 days annual leave(inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Be the face of GXO for new operational colleagues joining our business, ensuring they receive thenecessary training to complete their job role – safely
  • Deliver MHE and operational compliance training in line with GXO\’s policies and guidance
  • Be an ambassador for learning, leading by example whilst providing training & support to alllearners and continuous on the job coaching
  • Keep up to date with the latest regulations & legislation relevant to MHE and H&S, whilstensuring new practices are aligned within the business
  • Support and deliver other training sessions and workshops where appropriate across allfunctions, ensuring alltraining is evaluated, recorded and maintained as appropriate

What you need to succeed atGXO:

  • A current MHE trainer qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT) and actively training on a recent andregular basis – consideration will also be given to extensively experienced MHE operators whohold valid operator qualifications and would like to undertake their MHE Instructor qualification.
  • Previous warehouse experience and holder of a Counterbalance and or Reach certification
  • Flexible in your approach to ensure business needs are met and exceeded, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise and build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Previous training experience.
