What You’ll Be Doing

  • Testing high-spec products in line with detailed test specifications

  • Completing clear, accurate reports and documentation for every test

  • Inspecting and validating parts and assemblies against engineering standards

  • Diagnosing faults down to component level, including PCBs

  • Recording root causes and findings into internal systems

  • Supporting the maintenance of test equipment and your working area

  • Working closely with engineers and production to meet schedules and quality targets

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 years’ experience in a test technician or similar hands-on electronics role
  • Experienced in fault-finding to component level, particularly on PCBs
  • Able to read and follow circuit diagrams, schematics and wiring drawings
  • Comfortable in a low-to-medium volume manufacturing or test cell environment
  • Proactive, curious, and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Good PC skills – especially Microsoft Excel
  • Physically able to handle products and follow safe manual handling practices

Desirable Extras

  • Exposure to oscilloscopes, multimeters, PSUs and general test bench equipment

  • Experience working on high-voltageor similar products

  • Involvement in new product test plan development

  • HND/HNC or equivalent in an electronics/engineering discipline
