Job Description

Technical Project Manager – Salesforce Documentation and System Administration

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid (London Kings Cross office – 3 days)

Pay: market rate – please specify desired hourly rate (PAYE)

We are seeking a Global Scaled Compliance Digital Transformation Project Manager to join our Business Transformation team. As a key member of our technical support team, this critical role will be instrumental in documenting all system-related changes in Salesforce to establish the foundation for business-as-usual function for system enhancements. This individual will also play a key part in translating complex legal and compliance requirements into actionable technical specifications for software development engineers. This is a functional and process-oriented role, requiring precise documentation and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Documentation & System Administration:
  • Proactively identify and meticulously document all system-related changes and enhancements within Salesforce, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records are maintained for future reference.
  • Establish and maintain a robust documentation framework and process to serve as the BAU triaging point for incoming enhancement requests and system change inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support system administration, including user guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Troubleshoot system errors and escalate complex issues to senior technical staff.
  • Support in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Business Transformation Delivery & Change Specialist and project team to ensure smooth system implementation and adoption.
  • Legal & Compliance Requirement Articulation:
  • Act as a key liaison between Legal/Compliance teams and software development engineers, articulating complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, unambiguous technical specifications for system development
  • System Knowledge & Information Flow:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, configurations, and customizations relevant to ongoing transformation projects.
  • Inform the Business Transformation Team on current system capabilities and constraints relevant to architecture design discussions.
  • Administrative & Operational Support:
  • Provide essential administrative support related to system change processes, including scheduling documentation reviews, managing approval workflows, and tracking relevant deliverables.
  • Support the logistical preparation for system-related workshops or training sessions, as required.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and action logs, meticulously tracking progress, dependencies, and critical path items.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project support, documentation, or a related field within a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and experience in documenting system changes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements in a technology context is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience in a compliance or regulatory environment.
