Job Description
Senior Marketing Manager – Energy Events
London (Hybrid) 3 days
£60,000 + Bonuses + Benefits
My client is a global corporate business connecting portfolio managers and analysts both online & in person through their global events, a new role has arisen for a hands-on Marketing Manager to successfully execute the marketing campaign strategy across all marketing channels to drive revenue and visitor targets across the client’s event portfolios.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the setting of and then report on marketing activity to hit targets
- Be responsible for marketing budgets and forecasted budgets for future events
- Build and create clear communication channels across all stakeholder groups including sales and content teams, working with a global team.
- Line management responsibility of a team of 2 people based across Hong Kong and London including a Marketing Manager
- Work with the Portfolio Head of Marketing to develop the brand’s value proposition across the portfolio to ensure it’s always as relevant as possible.
- Oversee the management and production of all marketing communications across marketing emails, social, PPC and website.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing & Digital Experience teams on a digital & data growth strategy
- Report directly to the Portfolio Head of Marketing on all marketing activity, strategy and KPI performance.
- Support the Portfolio Head of Marketing, Marketing Director and Event Directors and contribute to the long-term portfolio strategy.
Key Expertise Required
- Proven marketing experience (Ideally in events, but not essential).
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience in testing, adapting and improving customer journeys across all marketing channels, alongside the setting of key metrics
- Evidence of relationship building across industry partners
- Experience in managing budgets, forecasting and setting budgets
- The ability to be agile, changing strategies and tactics when needs to be changing markets and producing new reactive ad hoc campaigns.
- Proven experience overseeing the management and performance of multiple marketing channels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and being able to prioritise at pace.
Experience in reporting and high-level analysis.
