Job Description
We are delighted to announce that SThree is searching for a Group Reward Specialist to join the team. Reporting to the Global Reward Director, this exciting opportunity can be based in either our London or Glasgow office on a hybrid basis.
The primary purpose of the role is to drive and ensure the successful execution of SThree’s reward initiatives and strategies, with a strong emphasis on data analytics to enable optimal decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Reward Director to evolve, build and drive the Global Reward vision, offering and strategy, championing a commercial and customer-centric approach, in line with reward best practice.

What are the key expectations of this role?
- Collaborate closely with the Global Reward Director to craft, communicate, execute and sustain strategic reward initiatives and plans that help drive organisational growth and key talent retention in a sustainable and profitable manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on matters related to rewards, leveraging data-driven insights to inform optimal decision making.
- Operationalise strategic initiatives, focusing on swift and timely action, progressing towards the end goal.
- Be regarded as a highly collaborative professional with a diverse range of strengths while playing close attention to achievement and optimal delivery.
- Actively contribute to the development and execution of the overall Global Reward strategy and ambitions.
- Help shape a culture of high quality service and operational excellence, continuous development and improvement, together with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and transform complex reward data insights into simple and clear actionable advice.
- Assume leadership of critical reward-related projects and reward cycle activities, such as overseeing annual salary and bonus reviews, ensuring they are delivered punctually and within budget, while aligning with organisational objectives.
- Reward performance metrics: establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to gauge the success of strategic reward initiatives, delivering regular updates to the Global Reward Director and other Senior Leaders.
- Analyse industry data, incentive effectiveness vs employee performance, competitive landscapes and market trends to generate valuable insights, empowering data-informed decision-making and help bolstering business growth.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience …
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to translate complex data insights into simplified and actionable deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and possess a can do attitude.
- Consultative and advisory skills with the ability to provide optimal solutions to business challenges
- Demonstrable experience in complex analytics (ideally with previous reward focus), with strong data and insights skills.
- Experience in managing reward programmes and associated activities at global level would be desirable.
- Good understanding of global reward practices, compensation structures, and performance management principles.
- Ability to navigate in a global matrix/ Helix organisation whilst demonstrating innovative collaboration across the organisation
- Familiarity with the Wills Towers Watson Global Grading framework would be desirable.
- Agile and distributed decision-making: using evidence and judgement to balance pace, rigour, risk, governance.
Qualifications
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CIPD) would also be a plus.
