We're looking for a talented Visual Designer to craft outstanding artwork for our mixed media advertising campaigns which are seen by millions of consumers in markets all around the world. You'll join our fast-growing London team at our headquarters in Shoreditch and be given the trust and responsibility to make a huge impact on our studio and the work we produce. It's an opportunity to rapidly progress your career and develop in a young but well-respected independent firm. You will be a hands-on designer and lead on art direction and graphic design for the projects you are involved in, helping to ensure our design work is the envy of other top studios.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Craft strong visual identities for digital and physical products and services
  • Create beautifully structured Figma files, leveraging frames, organised grouping, components and auto-layouts
  • Create compelling branding that makes a product or service stand out from competitors
  • Produce well-thought out design based on your unique interpretation of other artists' work
  • Leverage Ai tooling to build strong concepts and hand craft the finish to elevate work to production standards
  • Create designs which convey a product or services value proposition without the need for text
  • Pair words with your artwork to elevate meaning and create powerful visuals
  • Curate outstanding, inspirational content from other creators and present why each piece matters
  • Research, ideate and design full suites of branding assets
  • Concept, design and lead artwork for multi-channel advertising campaigns
  • Art direct deliverables produced by our live action production crews, animators, cgi artists, photographers and illustrators
  • Design lead looks, layouts and final artwork for any/all digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms including: Social, Display Advertising, eCommerce, Email Marketing, and Mobile / Desktop wWebsite Experiences
  • Develop signature interactions and transitions to help lift the user experience
  • Actively stay to to date with current design trends and interface design patterns for both the web and native mobile apps
  • Presenting and explaining your ideas to other designers, product managers, and company leaders
  • Explain your design rationale to clients. Articulating the decisions and thought processes that informed the designs
  • Self manage your design projects through their full lifecycle and collaborate with producers, and project managers to ensure timelines are met
  • Welcome the constructive criticism of your work and be able to constructively review the work of others

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years hands on experience in a Design studio, Ad Agency or Fast Growth Startup
  • Experience in defining and maintaining design systems
  • Be a confident visual narrator
  • A deep understanding of branding, layout, composition, typography and illustration
  • A well-presented design portfolio
  • Prototyping and animation knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skill and ability to sell through empathetic storytelling
  • Ability to produce high quality design and creative output in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively for different audiences at varying levels within our firm and our client's organisations from peers to senior leadership.
  • Be a tastemaker, able to identify and execute on the design details that level up work
  • Scope design initiatives and manage/prioritize work items
  • Demonstrable background at a professional level in visual design for large scale projects
  • Proficiency with industry standard design tools such as; Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema4D, Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, ComfyUI, Nuke
  • Responsive, mobile web and native app design experience
  • Be responsible for your ongoing learning, research and self-improvement
  • Skilled in, storytelling, critiquing, facilitating and presenting
  • An excellent command of English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field, such as: Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Visual Design and Branding
