Marketing Project Manager – FMCG

Location: Greater London – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits

We’re supporting a leading FMCG business in the search for a Marketing Project Manager to drive excellence across brand planning, innovation delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. Sitting on the UK&I Marketing Leadership Team and reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this is a pivotal role designed to bring structure, pace, and alignment across marketing and commercial teams.

This is more than a project management role — you'll be a central enabler of growth, ensuring critical forums and processes run seamlessly and brand plans are activated with clarity and impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and run key forums such as Product to Market, Stage Gate, and Activation, creating a clear operating rhythm and ensuring marketing activities stay on track across retail and out-of-home channels.
  • Lead the UK&I brand planning process from end to end, aligning input from marketing, sales, category, and finance to build robust and integrated plans.
  • Partner with finance and brand teams to deliver accurate NPD forecasting and A&P budget management.
  • Manage the early commercial planning stages (M1), helping assess sufficiency of plans to hit in-year and long-term targets.
  • Coordinate submissions for the global brand planning calendar and 36-month forecast, ensuring deadlines are met and insights are actioned.
  • Oversee tracking and performance of new product launches, using data to assess progress against AOP targets.
  • Line manage and coach one direct report, while also supporting the wider team’s ability to deliver with agility.
  • Support the planning and facilitation of key team events, such as quarterly offsites and internal marketing forums.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an FMCG setting leading Product to Market or similar programme management processes.
  • A natural relationship builder who can bring cross-functional teams together and influence at senior levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Resilient and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • A recognised Project Management qualification is essential.
  • Experience in brand, innovation, sales, or category would be a bonus.

Why Apply?

You’ll play a key part in driving marketing success for some of the UK’s best-loved brands. This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of delivery, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to bring order to complexity without slowing momentum.
