A large multi outlet hotel located near Bolton is seeking a Head Chef to assist the senior chef in the management of a brigade of up to 15 chefs. The hotel is a large scale operation and has multiple kitchens covering the different outlets. The property is a busy venue especially during peak seasons, with a capacity of 400 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh food for conferences, corporate dining, weddings and parties along with the restaurant and bar menus. The dining options are varied for the multiple rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience. The property needs a Head Chef who is flexible, able to write menus, costings, rotas and be fully involved in staff training.
Requirements:
A Head Chef who has a stable background working in 4* Hotels and can demonstrate the management skills needed to run a busy operation. You must be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines for this role.
