Job Description
Outwood Academy Haydock is an 11‑16 academy based in the former mining village of Haydock, within the large Merseyside town of St Helens. The school was cited as ‘Good’ in its most recent OFSTED inspection in September 2024.
We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators who will contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition and mutual support within the school.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct exam procedures are followed.
- Set out and collect exam papers and materials.
- Admit students to the exam hall/room and invigilate.
- Read and scribe for students where required.
- Work independently, prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Act as a role model and work within a team environment.

- Extremely well organised.
- Good standard of education.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Experience working independently and within a team.
- Willingness to act on one’s own initiative.
