Regional Sales Manager Europe North – ACV

At General Vacuum Europe, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for Europe North, for our Atlas Copco Vacuum brand. The role can be based in the UK or BENELUX and involves frequent travel across North Europe.

Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager Europe North will develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow the Atlas Copco Vacuum business through all channels. This role manages a team of 4 RSMs and 4 Sales Engineers, aiming to meet ambitious revenue, profitability, and market share targets, aligned with Atlas Copco Vacuum\’s vision of being \”first in mind, first in choice\”.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Maintain knowledge of the vacuum market, customer trends, and competitors; adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Sales & Business Development: Drive order intake and revenue; pursue new business; manage existing accounts; collaborate on project opportunities and aftersales.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team; foster entrepreneurial spirit and continuous improvement.
  • Process & Operations Management: Enhance sales processes; ensure effective use of sales tools; maintain accurate data.
  • Customer Experience & Digitalization: Ensure prompt responses; promote digital tools for sales and engagement.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Provide business reports, forecasts, and KPI tracking; share market insights.

Success in this role requires:

  • Proven management and sales coaching experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Deep product and application knowledge, ideally in vacuum or Atlas Copco products.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and marketing skills.
  • Experience in customer strategy execution, budget management, and technical expertise in vacuum physics.
  • Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business dynamics.

Other requirements:

  • Minimum 50% travel within the region.
