Job Description

Private Client Legal PA

A renowned US law firm is looking for an exceptional Private Client Legal PA to join their London office on a permanent basis.

  • Salary to £58,000 plus excellent employee benefits and perks to include free breakfast and lunch
  • 09:30 – 17:30 working hours
  • Hybrid working (4 days in the office / 1 day remote)

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Legal PA with a strong background in supporting at senior level. You will be a valued member of the Private Client team, taking on significant client-facing responsibilities and being actively involved in key processes, including opening matters and typing high quality correspondence.

Private Client Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately produces and amends documents and correspondence from handwritten, dictated, or printed material, often to tight work deadlines
  • Create and/or revise Adobe, Word forms, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Partner diary management which involves working across different time zones
  • Establishes and maintains effective communications with both internal and external clients or contacts
  • Deals promptly with telephone calls, directing enquiries and taking messages as appropriate; provides back-up telephone coverage and support for other lawyers and secretaries in the area
  • Onboarding new clients, opening new matters, and drafting engagement letters
  • Co-ordinates administrative tasks such as travel planning/expenses, monitoring inboxes, diary management, organising meetings, billing, time entries, mail, and research
  • Processing of expenses

Private Client Legal PA Key Skills & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within a law firm
  • Excellent diary and travel management and extensive experience booking travel
  • Exceptional communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to work within a team
