About Tailwind
Tailwind is a dynamic content production company with 16 years of storytelling experience. From corporate films to youth-led branded content, we’ve partnered with some of the UK’s biggest brands to deliver standout work.
We\’re proud to champion an inclusive culture that celebrates each team member’s unique background and perspective. All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of gender or any other protected status. Our environmental impact matters too – since 2023, all of our productions have been Net Zero, with carbon offsetting funding projects around the world.
The Role
We’re looking for a multi-skilled Video Producer/Director to join our growing, supportive team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a passion for ideas, storytelling, and production – someone who loves turning a brief into a brilliant finished product.
You’ll lead a mix of projects, from sleek corporate campaigns to trend-savvy content for Gen-Z audiences. If you enjoy being involved in every stage of production and thrive in a collaborative, idea-driven environment – this could be your next great move.
Please note: While we offer flexible working, we are ideally looking for someone based within a reasonable distance of our main locations in South East England (Herts/Beds), due to the nature of on-location filming.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading projects from concept through to final delivery – including scripting, scheduling, directing, and client communication.
- Directing shoots with confidence – bringing energy, clarity, and creative flair to set.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, talent, and collaborators.
- Spotting new business opportunities and contributing to pitches and proposals.
- Managing timelines and budgets effectively – with a focus on quality and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- A creative thinker who’s hungry to grow, takes initiative, and thrives under pressure.
- A strong communicator with a great sense of humour and team spirit.
- A track record of delivering exceptional content across various formats and platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus – but not essential for this role.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining high standards.
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is preferable for shoots.
What You’ll Get
- Flexible working – work from home with regular in-person shoots
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus 3 extra days off between Christmas and New Year
- Team socials and regular skill-sharing sessions
- Company pension
- Access to Your Care Premium – a comprehensive employee support programme offering:
- 24/7 access to qualified counsellors
- Free legal advice helpline
- Family care support for childcare, eldercare, and petcare
- A digital wellbeing platform with goal tracking, health tips, and personalised resources
- Guidance on HR, training, health & safety, and more via MentorDigital
