Responsibilities
- As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be responsible for maximising damages and costs recovery for your clients by ensuring they obtain the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and other losses.
- Collaborate with medical and liability experts, evaluating evidence to support claims.
- Advise on claim merits, including negligence, contributory negligence, and counterclaims.
- Engaging in settlement negotiations with insurance representatives or their solicitors.
- Drafting court documents, schedules of loss and witness statements.
- Preparing and supporting your client’s case for final hearing at Trial.
- Delivering a level of client care in accordance with SRA regulations.

Competitive salary: £24,750 (with a monthly bonus structure)

Working Hours
This role is full-time, based on 37.5 hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.
About You
To succeed in this role, we\’re looking for someone who brings a blend of skills and experiences, along with those extra special qualities that can really make a difference to our team and business. Past legal experience is not essential, but client/customer-focused experience together with a confident and articulate telephone manner would be a distinct advantage.
