About the Role

We are looking for talented and self-motivated graduates who have studied chemical engineering or mechanical engineering to join our site in Prudhoe, Northumberland, UK for a 24- month Fixed Term Contract. You will be assigned responsibilities from day one in our converting hall – where our finished products roll off the line. We want you to help shape the future of Essity through contributing your chemical knowledge, developing our processes and being part of our network of people leaders.
What You Will Do
From day one you will:
- Work alongside experienced engineers
- Dive into real-world process improvement projects
- Analyse production data to boost efficiency and reduce waste
- Learn to troubleshoot using root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Grow through our in-house training and development programme
Who You Are
- A Chemical or Mechanical Engineering graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Curious, analytical, and passionate about process improvement
- A team player with leadership potential
- Eager to make a tangible impact from day one
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus – but not essential. Your drive and mindset matter most.
