Key responsibilities

  • Support families in line with the Social Services & Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 and safeguarding vulnerable children.
  • Collaborate closely with partner agencies such as South Wales Police and Health within the Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
  • Implement the Signs of Safety model within the IAA Service, receiving training and ongoing support.
  • Receive a robust induction, regular supervision, additional support and mentoring as required.

Qualifications & requirements

  • Experience as a Social Worker – we encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified professionals.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Enhanced DBS with Children Barred list (required).
  • Vetting check by South Wales Police (required).
  • Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh (required).
