Key responsibilities
- Support families in line with the Social Services & Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 and safeguarding vulnerable children.
- Collaborate closely with partner agencies such as South Wales Police and Health within the Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
- Implement the Signs of Safety model within the IAA Service, receiving training and ongoing support.
- Receive a robust induction, regular supervision, additional support and mentoring as required.
Qualifications & requirements
- Experience as a Social Worker – we encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified professionals.
- A valid driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS with Children Barred list (required).
- Vetting check by South Wales Police (required).
- Ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh (required).
