Our client is a very sought after high-end Jewellery company. They are seeking a junior Merchandiser and a Merchandiser for their office in West London. The Merchandising team is responsible for the assortment and management of all product in the retail network. The Team works to ensure that stores are supported with the right Merchandise at the right time while maintaining the integrity of the brand. The team is focused on maximising stock, sales and sell-thru. The main day to day responsibilities for both positions, will be :

  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Partners to execute stock allocations and replenishment strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and take proactive rebalancing actions to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Utilise Sales Data and historical performance to make data-driven allocation decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of allocation strategies, including initial allocations and size distributions.
  • Provide the daily support to stores, including handling requests, coordinating deliveries, and managing stock enquiries to optimize sales potential.
  • Trace weekly and monthly sales and stock performance by region/store and provide actionable insights.
  • Coordinate regional Shipments by liaising with the Shipping and Sales Liaison Departments.
  • Assisting Merchandising implementing regional Pricing updates
  • Organise and maintain product passports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
  • Prepare presentations for business review and mapping
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and assignments as required.

Must have between 1-5 years of relevant experience within the Jewellery or Luxury industry and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to pay attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and excellent numerical sense. You will also be highly driven, self motivated and curious. An effective communicator and good team player. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in Jewellery and some Diamond knowledge will be beneficial.
