Nightpack Assistant – Belfast Boucher Road
Smyths Toys Superstores are recruiting Temporary Night Pack Assistants in Belfast Boucher Road. Our Night Pack typically runs from the end of September through to December, but hiring may begin earlier and involve working days and evenings.
Job Description
- Flexible to work up to 4/5 nights per week.
- Typical working hours are from 9 pm to 7 am.
- Work as part of a team to replenish the store to Smyths Toys standards and maintain those standards.
- Ensure the store is kept clean and tidy, with shelves packed down correctly to avoid gaps.
- Prioritise safety for staff and customers, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
Person Specification
- Experience in retail (preferred) or merchandising (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Can work under pressure and follow instructions.
- Good communicator with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic IT and computer skills.
- Proof of right to work in NI.
- Flexible to work up to 4/5 shifts per week.
This is a temporary contract. The base rate is £12.50 per hour for employees over 21 and £10.25 per hour for those under 21. For hours worked between 10 pm and 7 am, the rate is £14.37 for over 21\’s and £11.78 for 18‑20.
