About the Role

The role of Projects Finance Assistant – Europe is a key role in the EU/UK Financial Operations team, supporting the Projects accountant by ensuring that the funding, billing and payment processes are completed in an accurate and controlled manner with relation to all special projects. The Projects Finance Assistant will ensure that the workflow of processes, tasks / systems are improved where appropriate to ensure that the team as a whole, provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders in relation to all projects.

Note that this role requires to undergo a Security Clearance process (you must have lived in the UK since 5 consecutive years to be eligible to that process) and an enhanced DBS check. Kindly refrain from applying if you are not willing to undergo these necessary background checks.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in a Finance Team (ideally with cash management).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • To demonstrate a strong cross functional knowledge of various finance processes as used by CTM
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of banking, billing, AP, AR and reconciliation processes as relevant to CTM
  • An understanding of Finance systems and ledger postings.
  • Good communication skills and experience of working with non-Finance colleagues.
  • Ability to understand complex and high-volume transactions.
