FINTEC recruit is seeking an Electrician/Maintenance Electrician for our engineering/manufacturing client based in Highland region. This is a permanent position with salary in the £38,000 to £42,000 range plus pension and benefits. Working hours for day shift is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with flexibility around start/finish times; working back shift 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on rotations. Overtime available when covering additional shift working day/hours.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the engineering team within a fast moving production environment
- Repair of electrical breakdowns on machinery with the facility
- Carry out preventative maintenance on electrical equipment & identify and report signs of any equipment failure
- Document and recording of any changes made
- Installation and commissioning of equipment and services as requested
Skills and Experience required for the Electrician role:
- Qualified to City & Guilds level or above
- Industrial maintenance experience
- PLC knowledge – Preferably Allen Bradley 5/40, Siemens Step 5 or similar desirable
- Must be prepared to work towards completion of 18th Edition
