Overview
Are you an ambitious and experienced management accountant eager to take the next step in your career? I’m partnering with a leading organisation in Ipswich that’s looking to welcome a talented management accountant to their team. This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects and gain valuable exposure to help accelerate your career growth.
The position is paying between £40,000 – £45,000, 25 days holiday, study support if required plus lots more!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile management accounts, balance sheet codes, and cashflow reports.
- Maintain general ledger, project costing records, fixed asset register, and intercompany billings.
- Oversee accounts receivable, aged debtor reporting, and VAT returns.
- Support project teams with accurate cost tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and operational colleagues to ensure financial accuracy and control.
- Assist with audits and ad-hoc financial tasks.
About You
- Experience in management accounting within a commercial (ideally construction) environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT and tax law.
- Proficient in Sage 50, with proven process improvement skills.
- Strong communicator with initiative and attention to detail.
