About the Client
My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the North West, is actively seeking to employ an additional experienced and qualified LCV Mechanic to be based in their brand new (opening October 2025) state of the art workshop in Hyde. The role is available due to company growth /business demands.
Van Mechanic Responsibilities
- The successful Van Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
- Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
- You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
- You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include vans and cars.
Van Mechanic Qualifications
- Industry recognised qualifications NVQ or City & Guilds.
- Detailed experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic and familiarity with modern commercial vehicles.
- Any experience of breakdowns or onsite clinics would be an advantage.
- Any MOT testing experience Classes 4-7 would be highly beneficial.
