A self-motivated and fully qualified motor vehicle mechanic/technician is required for a leading motorsport team. This company runs one of the most successful motorsport championships in the country and is well known for its on-track success. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career within motorsport and thrive within a fantastic working environment. Full race car-specific training will be given.
5 days a week, aside from 7 race weekends per year with a day back in lieu.
Candidates should be within 25 miles of Leek, Staffordshire.
Must have;
- Fully skilled mechanic/technician with a minimum of 4 years experience
- Full driving license (Trailer or HGV license a bonus)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Main tasks:
- To build and prepare racing cars to a very high standard
- Be responsible for the race car in the workshop and at events
- Collaborate with a race-winning team in the development of race cars
- Be involved in all aspects of building the race car
- The ability to work to high standards within very tight deadlines
