Role- CNC Machinist (Semi Skilled)
Location- Bradford
Salary Neg around GBP14-15ph depending upon experience
HOURS 07.30AM – 4.30PM Friday -02.00pm
We are working with a subcontract machine shop in Bradford
Looking for someone who has experience in a manufacturing/Engineering background who is looking to progress and further train as a CNC Machinist
Responsibilities:
- To safely set up, program and operate CNC Machines whilst adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure equipment/ machinery is running smoothly, efficiently and to optimum requirements.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organised work area
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles
- Compliance with all quality policies and specifications, and instructions
- Use of gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements of finished goods.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result
This role will offer development in operation of CNC and Manual Lathes and Milling Machines
Working from engineering drawings
Editing programs in Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ controls
Experience using FLT would be a distinct advantage
