The role would ideally suit someone who is either early in their career as an Engineering Manager already or looking to take their first step up into full Management from a Senior / Lead Manufacturing Engineering level or similar!

Forming part of a close-knit yet forward-thinking team, this is an agile and highly progressive company that is seeking someone serious about their career and onward advancement.

Outline Responsibilities:

  1. Direct management and co-ordination of the Engineering team, comprising CAD/CAM Development Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and NPI to deliver against engineered systems to manufacturing in line with identified requirements (Manufacturability, Productivity, Cost, Schedule, Regulatory / Customer requirements, HSE, and Manufacturing Quality Standards).
  2. Work with Customers to liaise on engineering aspects for products, including creation of non-conformance through to drawing approval requests.
  3. Management of NPI / Process Introduction with a strong technical understanding – CNC machining systems (3/4/5 Axis), Engineering drawings (GD&T and special processes), and LEAN processes and best practices.
