As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the property, including upkeep of facilities and managing the maintenance team. Your role is to ensure tasks are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations during their stay. You will complete daily job lists and preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail and a passion for fixing things. Meeting deadlines, liaising with contractors, and ensuring health and safety standards are met are essential. You must be organized, an excellent communicator, hands-on, and detail-oriented. Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required; knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.
