Job Title: Engineering Technician (Shift)
Location: Leeds
Job Length: Permanent Working Hours: 36.5, 12 hour shift, 6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Engineering Technician to join our team at Britvic, a leading company in the Food & Beverages industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production facilities. With a passion for excellence and a collaborative mindset, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products that enhance life\’s everyday moments.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on production equipment and machinery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures
- Conduct equipment inspections and maintain accurate records
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel as needed
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency optimization
Experience and Key Attributes
- Proven experience as an Engineering Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience with industrial equipment and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in using relevant software and computer applications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Education
- Level 3 NVQ in Engineering
- HND/HNC Qualification
- City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering
Certifications
- Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable
