Triage Clinicians – Corby
Merco Medical is currently seeking experienced locum Triage Clinicians to support a busy Urgent Treatment Centre in Corby. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a busy, well-established urgent care setting and play a vital role in the initial clinical assessment of both adult and paediatric patients.
Role Overview:
As a triage clinician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing initial assessments and clinical triage of walk-in patients
- Identifying urgent presentations requiring immediate care
- Prioritising patients based on clinical need and escalating appropriately
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
To be considered, you must have:
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration
- Prior experience in triage (must be MTS trained or willing to undertake)
- Confidence in assessing both adult and paediatric patients
- Able to undertake cannulation, venepuncture, and assist with obs checks
- A working knowledge of SystmOne and an active NHS Smartcard
Rates:
·Up to £45 LTD
Shift Details:
- Services operate 7 days a week, from 08:00 to 21:00, with both long shifts (12–13 hours) and shorter shift patterns available
