Senior Sustainability Advisor – UK Regulatory Hub

London, United Kingdom | Reg Hub Team | Full-time

About Holtara

Holtara merges a market-leading sustainability platform with specialist advisory expertise. Our Regulatory Hub converts fast-moving rules into practical strategies for the financial sector and real-economy clients. With the UK introducing its own Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) and related instruments, we are expanding our presence in London.

The opportunity

As Senior Sustainability Advisor – UK Regulatory Hub you will help asset managers, insurers, banks and listed companies meet—and stay ahead of—UK-specific obligations such as SDR & labels, TCFD/ISSB reporting, FCA climate-risk rules, the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) framework and the forthcoming UK Green Taxonomy. You will lead client engagements, shape go-to-market propositions and embed UK regulatory logic into Holtara’s software modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UK-focused engagements
  • Direct projects covering SDR label assessment, TCFD/ISSB alignment, PAI-style metrics under SDR, transition-plan design and scenario analysis.
  • Interface with auditors, legal counsel and assurance providers to ensure end-to-end compliance.
  • Shape UK regulatory offerings
  • Translate evolving FCA Policy Statements, HM-Treasury guidance and TPT outputs into decision trees, data templates and platform features.
  • Pilot UK Reg Hub modules with lighthouse clients; gather feedback and refine.
  • Drive business growth
  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, craft proposals and negotiate contracts; maintain senior relationships with PRA/FCA-regulated firms.
  • Upskill the team
  • Mentor consultants on interpreting UK rules, sourcing data and drafting credible disclosures and transition plans.

What You Bring

  • Regulatory depth. 5 + years advising on UK sustainability or climate-risk regulation, risk management or related consulting—ideally for financial-sector clients.
  • SDR & TCFD mastery. Hands-on experience with FCA PS23/16 & PS22/14, TCFD/ISSB reporting, TPT transition-plan guidance and emerging UK Green Taxonomy criteria.
  • Commercial acumen. Proven record winning and growing client work; comfortable presenting to boards, CROs and heads of sustainability.
  • Product mindset. Ability to convert regulatory logic into data schemas, scoring algorithms or dashboard concepts; previous collaboration with product teams a plus.
  • Communication finesse. Clear translator of policy language into actionable guidance; fluent English
  • Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Finance, Law or related field. Legal qualification desirable but not essential.
