Overview
Yard Person – Driving License required. Ballymore — Embassy Gardens, SW8, London.
Hours: 7:00 – 16:00, across Monday to Sunday. Shift Pattern: 5 days per week. Contract: 40 hpw / permanent. Salary: £14.50 per hour.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Ensure that staff uniform is worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times.
- Display and follow necessary Health & Safety signs and procedures.
- Water plants, maintain cleanliness of all external paths, roads, plant beds and gardens to the estate; regularly sweep litter and cigarette ends.
- Remove cobwebs from rails, benches, fencing, lobbies and door canopies.
- Clean and polish steel fittings (e.g., signage, bollard lights, handrails).
- Clean, tidy and disinfect bin rooms and remove deposited items.
- Pressure wash as required.
- Keep car park areas clean, litter-free and apply degreaser as required.
- Clean areas and vertical surfaces as per schedule and specification.
- Water landscaping on the estate as directed by the Line Manager.
- Report any damage or defects immediately to your line manager.
- Keep all equipment in good working order and report faults to your manager.
What You\’ll Need To Be Successful
- UK Driving License – must be clean.
- Previous experience as a Yard Person/Cleaner within residential developments.
- Good team player.
- Strong communication skills.
