Starting Salary: £28,000

Application Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 or above in Electrical Engineering (or related subject).
  • Right to work in the UK unsponsored for the duration of the programme. Grayce is not on the UK Border Agency\’s Sponsor Register and is unable to sponsor work visas for international applicants.
  • Commuting distance of Rochester and able to be on site three days a week. Relocation support is available for those not living within commuting distance.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our clients; one of the largest and most prestigious technology companies in the world, whose solutions accelerate digital transformation and automation across a range of industries. Working as a Grayce Analyst, you will be deployed to work in a rapidly growing division of the client\’s business in Rochester, Kent, where they specialise in delivering sophisticated metering and data acquisition solutions to the UK\’s power industry.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of grid metering projects in accordance with the client\’s project management standards and achieving customer requirements.
  • Coordination for all project phases; Performing acceptance tests procedures
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met to budget and on time
  • Identify and manage project risk and put controls in place to mitigate these
  • Manage EHS (Environment, health and safety) in connection with delivery of projects.
  • Support and assist the management team to monitor the progress of works and ensure that the development, design construction, testing and financial targets are met and effect remedial action where required.
  • Ensure that the technical standards are maintained in all aspects of project work, in order that safe and successful project implementation
  • Lead and deliver on-site installation and commissioning works at customers premises.

Progression: Over time, you will develop into an Electrical Project Manager in the innovative grid metering and renewable energy space. You will work with market leading technology on international projects and be involved in the end-to-end project lifecycle.
