HR Business Partner

Mission:
Responsible for providing strategic Human Resources leadership support to the RTC business. This is an approximately 200 person technical, sales & manufacturing organization which is one of the UK\’s leading heating control brands and part of Schneider Electric, a global technology group focused on helping customers make the most of their energy.

You will be responsible for building strong trusted relationships with managers and employees across multiple disciplines, while helping drive organizational changes aligned with business and employee needs within the scope of RTC. This role will be a critical member of the HR and business leadership team, helping drive a major transformation across this organization. This role offers hybrid working model with 2-3 days at our site in Plymouth.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide HR business partnering support to a variety of leaders in the UK
• Drive our people strategy and cultural transformation with a specific focus on: High Performance Culture, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, Well-being, Engagement, Recruitment, Coaching, Feedback culture
• Facilitation of remediating employee issues as required as well as strong employment practice & knowledge of the UK
• Deal with local employee relations issues as well as support other BUs on this matter.
• Leading annual Schneider Electric HR programs for assigned groups in the areas of systems, compensation, performance management, talent management etc.

Skills and attributes:
• 5+years HR Business Partner experience
• Ability to work effectively in a plant environment, commercial and R&D environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management, and relationship building skills
• Successful/Effective Relationship Management & Business Partnership
• Ability to Influence & Convince as well as work in a global matrixed environment
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels
• Strong Results Orientation; organized, detail oriented, timely execution
• English fluency (verbal and written) it is critical for the role.

• Bachelor’s Degree
