Job description
Main Function
The purpose of the role is to take and process orders accurately and efficiently, maintain good administration, and provide clear communication with internal stakeholders, the brands, and service centre functions.
Key Responsibilities
- To process all sales orders accurately and effectively, maintaining The Swatch Group UK quality standards.
- Track and report on sales performance, stock levels, order fulfilment, and promotional activities.
- Maintain good administration in the sales process.
- Track shipment dispatches and proactively resolve any logistical delays or discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and key accounts regarding order progress and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure smooth last-mile delivery to retailers.
- Act as the main point of contact for return requests.
- Verify return eligibility and obtain necessary approvals.
Key Tasks
Order Processing
- Input data into the computer quickly and accurately.
- Communicate push order schedules and volume forecasts to the warehouse in advance.
Administration
- Send backorder reports using Excel.
- Check the status of orders using SAP.
Communication
- Liaise with Credit Control regarding overdue accounts to release orders.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to manage returns from key retailers.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested.
Profile
Key Skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Experience managing end-to-end order cycles, including push orders.
- Experience liaising with warehouse teams for stock movement, dispatch planning, and return handling.
- Competency in using Excel and ERP/CRM systems to track sales, stock, and order metrics.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines efficiently.
