We\’re hiring a Beverage Cart Attendant for Magnolia Green Golf Club!
The Beverage Cart Attendant is integral to the guest experience and provides food and beverage services (both alcoholic and non‐alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Beverage Cart Attendant will service beverages at the facility and provide a high-quality service‐oriented environment.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Ability to operate computerized/electronic cash register system
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Knowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Must have strong skills in Customer Service
- Must be dependable
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Responsibilities:
- Driving the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service food and beverage to guest
- Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
- Operate Micros, handle cash, room charges, guest member charges and credit card charges according to procedures
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Assist in upkeep of the golf course as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Working Conditions:
- While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands
- The employee often is required to walk, stand, drive, bend, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally
- The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards
- Exposure to pollens and dust
- Noise level is moderately quiet
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
