The role
As a Procurement Coordinator, you\’ll have a role that\’s out of the ordinary. To administer the process for purchasing goods and services within the R2P Business Services Procurement team and work as a member of a team to deliver department goals and support implementation of a robust R2P process.
Day-to-day, you\’ll review and process all requisitions and purchase orders for compliance at Group-wide level and prior to release check in accordance with divisional policies and inter-company SLA\’s.
- Proactive management of the open commitments – Maintain and manage the open order books for multiple Babcock entities, including GR/NI and Invoice In Query issues
- Procurement of IT hardware and peripherals for Babcock Group for UK and International sites
- Manage the Remedy sourcing activity queue and manage multiple departmental Procurement mailboxes
- Establish and maintain working relationships with all suppliers on Coupa/SAP
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Procurement Coordinator:
- Experience of working with the Requisition to Pay process
- Comfortable with Excel, databases and IS Systems (preferably Remedy, Coupa and SAP)
- Ability to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved or surpassed
- Experience of working with high volumes and responding to multiple priorities effectively in parallel
