The Role
Join Imperial Brands as our next Global HR Knowledge and Content Manager and help shape the future of how our people access and experience HR services. We’re a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking global FMCG business, powered by 25,000 colleagues across the world. This is a high-impact role at the centre of our HR transformation—perfect for someone who’s passionate about making HR content work smarter, simpler, and more effectively for employees and managers alike.
In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end lifecycle of HR knowledge and content—ensuring everything from policies and procedures to guidance and standards is accurate, accessible, and aligned with our global goals. Reporting to the Global Head of Process and Effectiveness, you’ll head up our HR Knowledge and Content Centre of Expertise and collaborate with a global network of around 50 Content and Language Leads. Your work will directly enhance self-service, elevate the employee experience, and drive operational excellence across all markets. Principle Accountabilities
- Shape global HR content standards; Develop and embed best practices for creating, reviewing, and publishing HR knowledge content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
- Lead content lifecycle excellence; Own the end-to-end process for HR content, from creation and validation to translation and publishing, ensuring it’s always accurate, accessible, and up to date.
- Champion localisation; Oversee translation processes and partner with local language leads to ensure content resonates across markets.
- Drive continuous improvement; Monitor content usage and quality, lead annual governance cycles, and identify opportunities to enhance the employee and manager experience through smarter content.
- Be the go-to expert for HR knowledge; Act as a trusted advisor to global and local HR teams, providing guidance, training, and support on content standards, tools, and change impact.
- Foster a connected global community; Build and lead a network of around 50 Content and Language Leads, creating a collaborative space for sharing, learning, and delivering together.
Skills and Experience Required
- A strong track record in global HR content or knowledge management, with hands-on experience managing content across platforms like ServiceNow and SharePoint.
- Experience working with HR technologies—particularly Workday, ServiceNow, and SharePoint—and understand how to optimise content for digital self-service and employee experience.
- Experience managing translation processes and tools to ensure content is accurate, culturally relevant, and accessible across markets.
- Highly organised and delivery-focused, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
- Have the ability to build trusted relationships across global teams, influence stakeholders, and bring clarity to complex content challenges.
- Be data-driven and improvement-oriented, have a track record of using insights, metrics, and governance frameworks to continuously enhance content quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
