We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK & ROI company at the forefront of the energy transition across the island of Ireland. As part of continued growth, they are expanding their in-house tax team and seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to support their Group Finance function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business committed to innovation, sustainability, and investment in people. Reporting to the Tax Manager and supported by a Graduate Trainee, the Tax Accountant will focus on UK and ROI tax compliance and accounting while contributing to wider planning and advisory projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering corporation tax compliance and planning across UK and ROI entities

  • Preparing accurate tax accounting entries and forecasts

  • Managing VAT reviews and compliance matters

  • Advising internal teams on queries related to payroll, benefits, and employee mobility

  • Supporting work on industry specific tax incentives

  • Preparing documentation and presentations for senior stakeholders

Essential Criteria:

  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA)

  • Strong understanding of UK and/or ROI tax regimes

  • Experience in a tax compliance or accounting environment

  • Confident working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities
