Urgent Care Practitioners – Lincoln UTC

Merco Medical is actively seeking experienced locum Advanced Practitioners (ACPs, ECPs, ENPs, ANPs or Paramedics) to support a busy Urgent Treatment Centre in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, treating patients of all ages with a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, autonomous clinical care to walk-in patients
  • Managing and treating a variety of minor injuries and illnesses across all age groups
  • Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
  • Conducting assessments, diagnostics, prescribing (if qualified), and making onward referrals where appropriate

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid NMC or HCPC Registration
  • Minor Illness and/or Minor Injury Qualification (Or extensive experience with both)
  • Previous experience in Urgent or Emergency Care
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
  • Confidence in managing undifferentiated presentations in a dynamic setting

Desirable:

  • Independent Prescriber (V300)

Shift Patterns:

The Urgent Treatment Centre operates 24/7, offering flexible shifts including:

  • Mornings
  • Afternoons
  • Long days
  • Nights

Pay Rates (Inside IR35):

  • Band 7: Up to £51.50 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Band 8: Up to £56.00 per hour (Umbrella)
