Triage Clinicians – Leeds

Merco Medical is currently seeking experienced locum Triage Clinicians to support services based in Leeds. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a busy, well-established urgent care setting and play a vital role in the initial clinical assessment of both adult and paediatric patients.

Role Overview:

As a triage clinician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing initial assessments and clinical triage of walk-in patients
  • Identifying urgent presentations requiring immediate care
  • Prioritising patients based on clinical need and escalating appropriately
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

To be considered, you must have:

  • Valid NMC or HCPC registration
  • Prior experience in triage or urgent/emergency care settings
  • Confidence in assessing both adult and paediatric patients
  • A working knowledge of SystmOne and an active NHS Smartcard

Rates:

·Up to £45 LTD

Shift Details:

  • Services operate 7 days a week, from 08:00 to 21:00, with both long shifts (12–13 hours) and shorter shift patterns available
