Job Overview
Healthcare professionals are needed to provide medical services supporting Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other DoD agencies including US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.
Qualifications
- Degree: Master\’s in nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC, AANP, or other recognized certifying body.
- Experience: At least two years as a Family Nurse Practitioner within the last three years, meeting clinical competency requirements.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in the US or territories, allowing independent practice.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive nurse practitioner services including screenings, examinations, immunizations, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling.
- Teaching and supervising staff, delivering educational lectures, and participating in training.
- Managing acute, chronic, or minor trauma cases within established protocols and in consultation with physicians.
- Promoting preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Participating in staff meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
- Supporting Deployment Related Health Assessments and Base Operational Medicine Clinic services as needed.
Support Status
This position is eligible for support under NATO SOFA articles 72 or 73.
