Do you like working as part of a team? Do you enjoy helping others have fun playing sports or taking part in activities? Come and join us! We are looking for enthusiastic, fun activators to help us ensure young people have fun in a safe, friendly environment.
Activators provide a fun and safe location for young people to come and relax and make friends. They deliver a variety of games, sports and challenges to create great memories for people.
We are looking for Adult Participation Activators with a focus towards Walking Netball & Walking Football. Relevant sports qualification required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and deliver a range of inclusive activities for all participants.
- Support and care for people, ensuring participants stay active and enjoy themselves.
- Plan, organise and manage activities for groups of young people with a variety of abilities or additional needs.
- Motivate and encourage participants during sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience supervising groups of young people.
- Sports coaching qualification or relevant sports qualification.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Self‑motivated and capable of motivating others.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
