Engage Senior Therapy , a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is now hiring a passionate and patient-focused Occupational Therapist at our partner Assisted Living Facilities in the Acton, MA region. In this role, you will determine appropriate occupational therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at a wide range of functional levels. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations that could include Concord, Manchester, and Bedford providing occupational therapy services to a diverse range of patients.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, daily living skills, and cognitive performance
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and other goals that matter to your patients
  • Lead wellness initiatives and group fitness classes to encourage healthy habits and social engagement among patients
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staffto support optimal patient outcomes and quality care
  • Educate patients and families about strategies to improve independence and better quality of life
  • Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
  • Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors

About You

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Active or pending state license to practice occupational therapy
  • Passion for delivering quality, evidence based patient care
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience or interest in geriatrics, with skills in adaptive equipment and ADL training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
