We’re looking for Data Engineers who have a broad range of data engineering skills, with a focus on Snowflake, along with experience with either Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality data solutions for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of technologies and contribute to the growth of our Consulting practice.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop good working relationships with clients on projects, including interpersonal skills with both business and technical colleagues.
  • Work as a data engineer to develop performant end-to-end solutions in a collaborative team environment.
  • Deliver high-quality work, escalate problems when necessary, and propose solutions.
  • Support the growth of the Consulting practice through contributions to initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and data services.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

We’re looking for candidates with strong expertise across the data engineering and analytics landscape. Key technical skills include:

  • Snowflake expertise: Proven experience designing and delivering data solutions in Snowflake, plus proficiency in platforms such as Databricks (Azure or AWS), Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Synapse.
  • Python programming: Ability to write clean, efficient Python code for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Data pipeline development: Experience building data pipelines for Snowflake using native tools or third-party platforms like Informatica, Fivetran, or Matillion.
  • End-to-end data project delivery: Success in delivering comprehensive data solutions involving data governance, architecture, ETL/ELT, data lakes, warehousing, MDM, and BI.
  • Engineering delivery practices: Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, including Git, APIs, Containers, Microservices, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Data architecture and modelling: Familiarity with approaches such as Inmon, Kimball, or DataVault.

  • SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer
  • SnowPro Advanced Administrator
