| Taunton | Full Time – 45 hours per week | Salary (Dependent on experience): Band 1 £28,700 – £31,500 // Band 2 (London Weighting) £31,600 – 34,600 per year

Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic & innovative Regional Maintenance Engineer to join their committed and passionate team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for reactive repairs, proactive maintenance tasks, and regular inspections across stores within your region.

Your visits will be scheduled weekly, with emergency reactive visits as needed to meet SLA requirements. You will be provided with a dedicated van for maintenance stock and will need to submit daily reports via our reporting tool. You will support the Account Delivery Team and deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • CSCS card
  • Experience in trade-specific tasks such as carpentry, electrical repairs, lock fitting, LED light replacements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Relevant technical knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Can-do attitude and innovative mindset
  • Clean UK driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Make daily visits to stores for repairs and maintenance, ensuring safety standards
  • Coordinate with store staff and report via online tool
  • Manage van stock and report usage daily
  • Travel using provided company vehicle
  • Perform basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and handyman tasks
  • Update job reports and provide quotes for repairs as needed
